BIO

Amy Saul Mollengarden is a dedicated and accomplished family law attorney who has built a respected practice centered on compassionate advocacy and strategic counsel. She has more than a decade of experience representing clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody, child support, contempt, legitimation/paternity, stepparent adoption, and other complex family law issues.

Before entering private practice, Amy served as the staff attorney to a judge on the Superior Court of Cobb County. This invaluable judicial clerkship provided her with a unique perspective on courtroom procedures, judicial reasoning, and the intricacies of litigation.

In 2022, Amy was selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the nation’s preeminent organization of family law practitioners. She has also been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Family Law since 2023 and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2020.

Amy is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Family Law Section and has held several leadership roles, including Chair of the YLD Family Law Committee. She is a Barrister in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court and serves on the Leadership Council of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

Amy frequently contributes to the advancement of family law through her publications and presentations. Examples of her work can be found below.

Outside of her legal practice, Amy supports Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and was named a member of the 2025 class of Emerging Leaders for Children’s. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring Atlanta, trying new restaurants, cooking, and traveling.
