Katie Connell is a graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Since graduating, she has been active in the family law community. Recently, she was reappointed by Governor Nathan Deal to serve on the Georgia Commission for Child Support, as well as being asked to serve on the board for the Weltner Family Law Inn of Court. She has also served on the Family Law Section for the State Bar of Georgia Executive Committee, was named to the 2008 Child Support Commission’s Child Support Electronic Worksheet Task Force, and was a member of the 2008 Leadership Academy for the State Bar of Georgia. She has been named one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite, Georgia’s Most Effective Lawyers” and a Rising Star by Super Lawyer’s Magazine.
Prior to starting her own practice, Katie was an attorney with Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, and Warner, Mayoue, Bates & Nolen. She graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Auburn University, and received her Masters in Accounting from Auburn University. A native of Savannah, Ga., Katie now lives in Atlanta with her husband and sons.
